movie.produce can be used to generate a movie file (mpg) after using the movie commands, see Movie_school


USAGE

movie.produce filename [, mode [, first [, last [, preserve [, encoder [, quality [, quiet ]]]]]]]

ARGUMENTS

filename

output file

mode

normal {default}
draw
ray

first

start frame {default: first frame}

last

end frame {default: last frame}

preserve

= 0: cleanup frames from temp directory {default}
= 1: leave temp directory & frames

encoder

which encode to use {default freemol's mpeg_encode}

quality

integer 0..100: for visual quality of final movie; corresponds to movie_quality setting

quiet

verbosity

EXAMPLES

# generate myfile.mpg
movie.produce myfile.mpg

# generate movie myfile.mpg ray'ing frames 20-100 while preserving the ppm images of each frame in the myfile.tmp directory
